Multitude of vessels burning sequentially
One by one the searing structures

They gained the upper hand as the allied
Fighters are laid to waste in an instant
Solar cannons blast through the defenses
Alien munitions wreaking havoc

Combat against the wrathful foes
Agents of terror
Bringing their plague from Cygnus A
a torn galaxy

War
Permeating all destruction
Death
Numerous casualties arise

Life forms inferior to the machines that they create
Destined to bring about the end of their race
The putrid stench of their scorched alien flesh
A small price to pay for the species’ death

The hatred escapes their eyes as the battle ground’s brought to a black hole
Their systems failing under the pressure in which they now drown
Crossing the event horizon they succumb to a greater force
As particles of light pierce organic matter and scatter their hordes
No escape for their scores
Their screams echo off of the pieces of their broken ships
The sound waves finally lost within the portal’s grip
